I have only just discovered your writings. My first comment in you're last article was a bit tongue-in-cheek to hide the fact that it was very thought provoking.
This article is leaving me with few illusions as to why I'm living a very solitary life. I'll need to absorb this.
Thanks for saying this George and for discovering my writing! I would love to know your thoughts on the other side of your absorption process. Feel free to add any additional insights here or email me privately for an offline exchange.
re: your previous tongue-in-cheek comment - I appreciated it. As a Canadian living in Australia for 18 years, I still haven't wrapped my head around how things work politically here.
This article definitely came at the right time. I called the DISRUPT a WIRETRIP. That was the only way I could describe it. My gut told me to wake up but then, as your article said, I’m up thinking of ways NOT to change it.
“The alternative is that you will grasp a different paradigm that emerges from your principles - your inner authority - that will give you a direction that is sustainable and won’t make your life worse or cause a massive overhaul of your belief system.”
However, in one case it feels worse (family estrangement) tbh but I was trapped in a double bind and radical acceptance necessary. It feels worse because an adult child aligns with the fam of origin against me(unconscious projective identification?). Otherwise I was good to go.
As always - thank you for your vocal support and enthusiasm for my work Trevor! I appreciate you, your advocacy and your tireless uplifting of others who are trying to improve conditions for us all.

WIRETRIP is a great term to describe the initial shock or disruption Dixie. Do you have insight as to why you're thinking of not changing things?
I relate strongly to

Thanks @Kelly Thompson for weighing in!
Great insights. Other people will rebel against your autonomy, they may be uncomfortable with your newly found independence.
People get upset when they lose the benefits they had by exploiting you. Who knew? 😂
Once again fabulous. Looking forward to the next article

Thank you so much
Thanks Lee for reading! What stood out to you from this piece (if you're happy to share here)?
'Scientific Consensus' should probably be on your authority figures.
Good pick up David. Will definitely be adding that to the list.
