Every canon of literary art from the ancient Greeks to Shakespeare to modern cinema (Closer, Adrian Lyne films such as Unfaithful, Woody Allen films such as Match Point and Midnight in Paris) underline the complete dependence of society, its institutions and individual happiness on the balance of the masculine and feminine, neither more important and both necessary.
This is the best explanation of institutional feminization I've heard. I think it's important to emphasize that it's not a bunch of individual women who've done this - many women are hurt by feminization and many men have participated in the trend. This is a vast cultural and organizational shift. 5 years ago almost no one was discussing it (that I recall) and it has still being strenuously marginalized from the mainstream but that is time limited. Unfortunately it's very difficult to reverse cultural trends, especially when they involve foundational values.
